15th Central Finance Commission

As per the guidelines of the Government Resolution No. पंविआ-2020/प्र.क्र.59/वित्त-4 dated 26th June 2020 from the Rural Development Department, the following directives are to be followed by Panchayati Raj Institutions under the 15th Central Finance Commission Fund:

Basic (Untied) Grant:
This grant is untied in nature, meaning it is not restricted to specific uses.

It cannot be used for staff salaries or establishment-related expenses.

It should be utilized for other necessary local needs as identified by the rural local self-government institutions.

Tied Grant:
This grant is specifically allocated for certain areas:

Sanitation and maintenance of Open Defecation Free (ODF) status in local self-government bodies.

Drinking water supply, water conservation/recharging, rainwater harvesting, and water recycling projects.
