Beneficiary:

Under the National Biogas Development Scheme, central government grants are provided for biogas generation. Amount for general group is Rs. 11,000/- per system Scheduled Castes and Tribes Amount Rs. 13,000/- per facility for addition of toilet Rs. 1,600/- per plant, for further information contact District Level - Agricultural Development Officer and Taluka Level Group Development Officer / Agricultural Officer / Extension Officer (Agriculture),

Benefits:

Biogas is a non-conventional energy source that can be used as fuel for cooking. It does not cause environmental pollution and helps in saving fuel expenses.
