About Department
There are a total of 15 divisions under the Panchayat Samiti Murbad. There are 14 veterinary clinics and 9 primary health centers under the Panchayat Samiti, 325 primary schools and 393 Anganwadis. Similarly, 126 Gram Panchayat offices are attached to the Gram Panchayat Division.
Introduction
- The Administrative Head of the Panchayat Committee is the Group Development Officer.
2. The Chairman and Deputy Chairman elected by the members of the Panchayat Committee shall be the ex-officio officers of the Panchayat Committee.

Objectives & Functions
Comprehensive development of rural areas, creation of clean, beautiful and green villages, implementation of activities for poverty alleviation, outreach of government schemes to village people, implementation of government schemes, allocation of funds for development of Gram Panchayats, strengthening of Panchayati Raj system.
